Make-Up Essentials

When buying make up I choose quality over quantity. I'd rather buy less for more, than more for less just because I prefer to use good quality beauty products when it comes to my face. I was never much of a beauty enthusiast, until I was probably halfway through high school. I began getting more interested in the products I was using, especially if they worked well with my skin.

I use very little bronzer because my face is fairly pale, and I always feel like if I were to use a lot of bronzer it would create an unflattering contrast with my pale skin. The reason why I like Too Faced's bronzer is because it's not orange; it really does have a brown/bronzie look when I put it on and it's something I've struggled to find for a long time.

I just recently started using the Urban Decay's All Nighter, and I have to say I really, really love it. If it's a really hot outside or if I know I'm going to be out for most of the day I make sure I use this because it really does hold my make up on for a long time.

I love experimenting with new mascaras. I've used quite a few that I really like, but Chanel's classic Le Volume black mascara has got to be the best one I've used so far. I only need one coat of this because it is so saturated and dark that my lashes really do not need any extra coating, unless I'm going out and I do want them to be extremely long.

When it comes to foundation, I've struggled to find the right one. It was always either the wrong shade, or I used it up way too fast, or it just made my face very oily. But once I started using Tarte's water-based foundation, I was in love. This one bottle lasts me more than six months, because the coverage is really good so I never end up using too much of it. It refreshes my face and I never break out from it. After strictly using it for more than a year, I don't think I'll ever stop because I just love it so much.

Brows! Anastasia Beverly Hills has absolutely no competition there, in my opinion. I've only ever used their products when it comes to eyebrows and I do not think that will be changing anytime soon.

This highlight is a newer addition to my make up routine. I really love Tarte's Rainforest of the Sea collection, so I decided to try the highlight as well and I absolutely love it. It's super easy to use, and it's very creamy so it blends really well.

This palette has all the colors I could possibly need for my daily make up routine. I'm more into neutral colors than the pink tones, so I decided to buy this one as soon as the collection came out last year. It's basically been my go to eyeshadow for months now.
